Following my interest in renewable energy, I created a geothermal website in the early 2000s – technically, the technology, using heat exchange is not really geothermal energy, but when I received an ominous email regarding my use of the word “geoexchange (R)” in my domain name, I decided to use the same misnomer that everyone uses. It turned out to be better for SEO anyway.
